Order processing and shipping

  • Orders are processed within 1-3 business days.
  • We use UPS, FedEx, and USPS shipping carriers depending on the destination and products that were ordered. We recommend choosing 2nd Day or Overnight service for perishable items that require a certain temperature while in transit. Orders are shipped Monday through Friday. Orders that have an estimated shipping time of more than 3 business days are shipped Monday through Wednesday because we don’t want packages to be kept in shipping carrier's facilities during weekends. Orders placed after 12 pm will begin processing the next business day.
  • If an item happens to be out of stock during processing, you will be contacted for a replacement as soon as possible via e-mail or phone. In case when the missing items make up less than 10% of the order, they will be shipped without the missing items and a refund for them will be issued.
  • We deliver to all addresses. Restrictions apply for P.O. Box.

  • We DO NOT deliver on APO address. We don't offer International shipping.

  • Estimated transit times for UPS and FedEx can be found on the following map. Nevertheless, Ground shipping may take up to 6 business days regardless of destination. Weather conditions, holidays, and other unforeseen circumstances may increase transit time.

  • Depending on the chosen method delivery may take 1-7 working days. A tracking number will be sent to your registered email address once your package is shipped. 


Continental Shipping

Free shipping

You may get Free Shipping if your order total is over $55 and your shipping weight is not exceeding 15 lbs*.

 

Free Shipping applies only to continental US states, residential addresses, and Ground/Standard shipping methods. Free Shipping cannot be combined with Coupon Discount.

* Free Shipping option cannot be used on orders containing perishable items. During the hot season (May 1 - Sep 30) orders containing perishable items must be shipped with EXPRESS service (Second Day/Overnight). Free Shipping cannot be used for Express shipping methods.

 

Shipping Rates and Options

Shipping rates and options are provided during checkout.

This generally applies when ship-to address is a PO Box, APO Address, or in US Territories.

Rates are calculated based on weight, size, and distance from Covina, CA (zip code: 91722).

Shipping time varies but goods are expected to be delivered within 3 to 7 days upon customer’s receipt of shipping confirmation.

Additional Shipping Services

We offer Signature Confirmation on Delivery option for customers who wish to have the date and time of delivery or attempted delivery and the name of the person who signed for the item, for added security. This can be availed with an extra charge, depending on the courier of choice, upon checkout.

Note: FilAsian Grocery is not responsible for any lost packages. Once the courier receives the package, it is the customers’ responsibility to track, follow up, and ensure that their package has been received. The customer should directly contact the courier for support and a refund for any shipping issues. PO Box Shipping

PO Box addresses shipping is via USPS only. Kindly choose this shipping method upon checkout. Additional charges may apply.

 

International Shipping

We do not offer automatic shipping calculations on our website for international shipments. Please send us a message through https://www.messenger.com/t/filasiangrocery or email support@filasiangrocery.com if you have questions on international shipping.

 Order Tracking

Upon successful payment, an order confirmation will be sent to the email provided with a tracking number. This tracking number can be used to monitor the status of the delivery.

Customers can also opt-in to get notifications through Facebook Messenger or SMS if they choose this option on our confirmation page. Charges may apply.

 

Damage During Transit

We pack and ship our products carefully to avoid any type of damage and ensure they are in good condition before handling by couriers. Once products are in transit we transfer the responsibility to the couriers. Customers can buy insurance from the courier if fear damage or loss.  If goods are damaged in transit, please contact us at support@filasiangrocery.com. We will try to help facilitate and determine the best way to manage this. But there is no guarantee for the loss or damaged goods due to accidents during transit. 

 

Change of Address or Ship-to Address Errors

Customers are responsible to provide the correct shipping information. If an error is made and a change of information is needed, customers may request a change, but a minimum of $20 Change of Address fee will be charged once the package is in transit. A re-delivery charge may also be applied once a package has been delivered. There is no guarantee all incorrect shipments can be amended, we ask our customers to validate the information being provided before submitting it to our site. Authorization and Right to Refuse

FilAsian Grocery tries to protect our customers' information and has the right to refuse any sales if we feel that a transaction is high risk and deemed fraudulent.

 

Order Handling and Processing

All orders are processed for shipping within 72 hours of order receipt. Orders placed during weekends or US holidays will be processed the following workday. Peak seasons and unforeseen events may affect handling and shipping time, and we will inform customers with the best of our ability in such cases.

 

Cancellation Policy or Change of Address

Order cancellation or Change of Address can be requested within 4-hours of order placement. If the request is received beyond this window, our team will check if the order has not been shipped and will try our best to accommodate the request.

Tender of Goods, Rejection, and Acceptance

 

Once a tracking number has been provided, the carrier assumes any risk of loss or damage.  We request our customers to track the delivery and inspect items upon receipt of the package. If an item is damaged or not in good condition, this should be reported to support@filasiangrocery.com within 5-days of receipt. Else, we assume that the goods have been accepted in their best condition.

If a customer wants to file a claim or reject the delivery, FilAsian Grocery has the right to ask for detailed information such as Tracking Number, Invoice Number, and Photographs to help facilitate the request. The customer agrees to return the items received in their original state and packaging to us in such a case. If this cannot be done, the customer shall pay for the product in full. A penalty of 10% per month will apply on unpaid/unreturned merchandise and overdue accounts, plus all costs of collection, including but not limited to reasonable attorneys' fees.
